Living in Charlottetown for a year going to school, my husband and I fell in Love with Leonhard's. Wonderful atmosphere, beautiful decoration and ambient, and heavenly delicious food!
We went twice for lunch and look forward to try their breakfast menu.
Being half german myself, I can vouch for the authenticity of the German Rye bread flavour and texture. Family...

This is a place I like to go to, and will choose if meeting a new friend or business acquaintance for the first time.
Like everywhere in PEI the prices may seem low to a Torontonian but a bit stiff for us Islanders.

Really excellent German lunch and dessert fare, mostly soups, sandwiches.
Desserts are amazing.
Best coffee in Charlottetown.
Service very good.
Atmosphere bright and nice.
But above all, they charge fair prices.

There was a lineup at all times to get in for a table but we never never felt rushed. Our server was outstanding.

My daily trip to Leonhard's for a milky coffee (and sometimes a little treat) is a great escape. The decor is magical, the product is superior and the staff and owner are friendly and cheerful. The best time to visit is a little before or after the lunch hour as tables can be hard to get at this hour. This...

Took my Ozzie friends here for lunch. Sandwiches and soup were great, although the service was a little unorganized. Our waitress managed to mix up all our orders, and one sandwich wasn't exactly as advertised, although it was very tasty. The highlight was the wonderful pastries with coffee for dessert. A little pricy for a light lunch.
