The best ham and cheese croissant I've ever had. The ambiance is also nice with high ceilings. Always crowded though but I guess that's a good indicator of the quality of food they serve. We had breakfast here everyday during our 4 day stay. I can't wait to visit Quebec again and dine here.

I had a ham, cheese and egg croissant sandwich with coffee. Everything was delicious. There's a variety of pastries and bread to choose from. My friends and I tried the Jesuite, which is a pastry made with almond paste...so tasty! The service staff was so friendly. I went there four times and always got service witha smile.

We stopped here for lunch. Each of us had a drink (great pop selection), a sandwich and a soup. My soup was very good. My sandwich was also good (roast beef), and considering we didn't eat a lot of food, we were full most of the rest of the day. The seating is a bit odd - cafeteria style -... More

We went for lunch. We had salads which were delicious and they put 2 slices of bread that melt in your mouth. The service is quick and the price is very good. Because we liked it so much, we went again for ham and cheese croissant, The bread is out of this world. If the breakfast would not have been... More

Had cheese and ham croissants that were excellent, ordered latte and latte mocha, mocha wasn't very good, texture of it should be revisited. Ordering process is not clear, was told to pick-up my croissants at the end of the counter, but latte and mocha didn't followed, so I went closer to the coffee machine to show my receipt in order... I didn't know anything about this place, and was looking for a nice lunch. I had an incredibly nice vegetable soup, and the best sandwhich ever. Pity I don't live in Québéc ! I tought the price was cheap enough for what i ate, and a musician was playing french classics! So enjoyable!

We went to Paillard every morning for our breakfast pastries, and I have to say they were some of the best that I've ever had. My wife and daughter also pronounced the caffe au lait excellent. Because of the type of seating and tables, this didn't seem like the kind of place where you would nurse a cup of coffee... More

This bakery had tons of selection and had amazing French pastries and bread. The place was always packed with people having breakfast, lunch and coffee. Great cafe spot!

This place is a gem. I found this place on tripadvisor reviews for my trip to Quebec. I visited for lunch and then returned the next day with my husband because it was so good! It has a European vibe with the smell of fresh bread & pastries, and an accordion musician playing eloquently. I recommend the cauliflower and pear... More

I did not get into this cafe, but one of our group did and bought six croissants which we ate on the plane back to Toronto. We were told they were the best place to buy croissants in QC and they were delicious. When our flight attendant saw the box, he also said it was the best place for croissants... More
