Not sure where the Hobbit theme comes from - perhaps the Hobbit's need for breakfast, elevenses, lunch, etc - good food, wine, service OK - my Australian sense of humour might have missed the mark - I think Canadians take "tongue in the cheek" comments a little too literally.

We had an extensive impromptu 3 course late lunch here. A warm and welcoming refuge from the bitter cold, the menu caters to the hungry tourist in search of hearty home-style food. Best part for me was the oceanesque bowl of coffee.

Excellent place for brunch/breakfast. Not too expensive, delicisous breakfast, always amazing croud and vey very good service.

Interestingly located resto. Our meal was somewhat underwhelming. French onion soup and lasagna was decent. Was worth a try but we wouldn't return. Two dining areas. The dining room where you enter the restaurant was the nicest. We were put in another room where there were 3 screaming infants.
