This restaurant is located about a $50 cab ride away from Old Quebec, where we were staying. I had read really good reviews, and we are foodies, so we decided it was worth the effort to go out there. First, I made reservations off of Opentable. Keep in mind that they will phone you a few days later to secure... More

Now here's a place well worth the drive. It's about 20 minutes out of quebec city. You have a choice of a 7,12, or 20 course meal. Splurge and go for the full 20 with wine pairings, it's truly out of this world. You will presented with textures and tastes that soulfully rock your world.

Well not only is this the best restaurant in Quebec City, but I think it has a rightful claim to best in Canada. The cooking has finesse not easily found in the typically great but uber-rich dishes of Quebec. Clearly influenced by Grant Achatz, this is not on par with Alinea (about 1/3 of the dishes were)... but it's not... More

Alinea, Per Se, Michel Richard, WD 50, Boulud, Toque, and now La Taniere! All amazing restaurants I've had the fortune to dine at but this restaurant is up there and likely the best 'food experience' I ever had. We dined on a Thursday night (I strongly recommend coming in on a Wed or Thurs as a table is harder to... More

Each course was a spectacular work of art that surprised the senses. Expensive meal (600$ for 2) ,but worth the experience. Choosing to dine here means giving in to the unknown & allowing yourself to taste food in a way you never knew you could. My husband was floored & said he would never forget his special birthday dinner celebration.... More

It isT not only eating a good meal, it is a real great experience to live. Three `tables d'hote`to chose: 10,15 or 20 services. Molecular cuisine with the right wine for each service. This is undescrible. You have to live it.

More
