We stopped here on our way to Halifax. Wonderful cakes and scones and coffee. Cake slightly expensive but worth it. Lovely little shop too for last minute buys to take home.

I just happened to stop by the gift shop here on my way to Halifax. I hadn't had breakfast, so I decided to check out the restaraunt. I'm so glad I did. The food was very fresh, the eggs bright sunny yellow and very flavorful, the coffee was perfect and OMG the bread. It was flavored gently with herbs, toasted... More

On our way to East Jeddore for a two week stay, stopped in for breakfast on our first morning! A awesome surprise, fishcakes on the menu! Most excellent change to the normal breakfast, or should I say, addition too! Dropped in a couple of other times for coffee but couldn't get out without having a cinnamon bun too. Staff and... More

I stayed here for one night on my way to Halifax. I had booked ahead and found I was the only one staying overnight. The room I had was a good size, clean and decorated in a shabby chic way (charming). The bathroom is not private and there is a 'living room' with a tv, small fridge, and coffee maker.... More

We stumbled upon this cafe by chance as unfortunately ( or fortunately for us) the signs and mileage pointing to this cafe are somehow incorrect. We thought that we have missed it so were pleasantly surprised to find it and IT WAS WORTH IT!. The cafe is small but cozy and quaint, the service was excellent. The cakes freshly baked... More

We have stopped here a few times on a weekend drive. Nice folks that run it and very good home cooked food. They pay attention to ingredients.

I eat here at least twice a month, maybe more! The cafe is funky quaint with wide planked flooring, mismatched tables/chairs, and artwork hanging on the walls from local artisans. It has a warm homey feel and that is largely due to Holly and staff. Most of the clientel are repeat customers so you know there is a reason.... the... More

We fancied a cup of coffee as we were driving through Musquodoboit Harbour, so stopped at this lovely cafe. Because we are getting closer to Halloween the cafe was decorated with pumpkins. Entered the cafe and there was such a charming interior. Like other Maritime people a lady welcomed us with smile. My girlfriend had a coffee and a homemade... More

. . . from the view from the Sea Urchin room to breakfast (which included fishcakes made from the family's special recipe) to the wide variety of items available in the gift store to the amazing hospitality shown by Holly, a one-of-a-kind, all-round fabulous experience. I highly recommend it.

Lovely small cafe with seating inside and out (don't sit outside in the sun as it gets very hot, unless you want to cook). Tasty home made food with a good choice of wraps and salads. We ate lobster wrap with spinach, apple, pecan & date salad plus avocado pesto panini with spinach, cucumber, pepper and carrot followed by blueberry... More
