Always great to go and pick up fresh bread - great selection and great desserts. Wonderful place to stop for coffee or light snack. Highly recommended.

On the advice of previous travellers we made a detour to this bakery and were not disappointed. The breakfast was fantastic, and plenty of it, setting us up for the day. We left with a blueberry tart to die for and an authentic Swiss hazelnut snail which beats any Canadian cinnamon bun by a mile! it is clear that the... More

I stopped by The Swiss Bakey in Valemount BC in February 2013. I had read all the glowing reviews and ahd to see for myself. This is one of the cutest, most friendly and happy coffee shops that I have ever seen. The owner was exceptional as she explaned all the different pastries, breads and her homemade soups. The aroma... More

We stopped here for lunch after a drive to Mount Robson. It's a cute little hut off the main highway. It's very small, only seats about 10 people. There is no menu, you just go in and ask what's for lunch. We had the farmers breakfast (fried potatoes and vegatbles an egg and sausage) and soup with bratwurst. The food... More

We stopped in during a recent roadtrip from Jasper to Kamloops & were not disappointed. Everything was baked fresh that morning & the smell alone will have you salivating. We opted to takeaway a bag full of goodies, a loaf of bread & 2 delicious cups of coffee for about $15. It's well worth the detour.

If you are on Highway #5 travelling between Jasper and Sun Peaks, do yourself a favour and stop for coffee and a pastry at the Swiss Bakery in Valemont. There are signs to direct you to the far side of town by the train tracks. Also remember to take cash as it is a cash only cafe. As soon as... More

Like all good things this place is a little hard to find, but well worth the trouble. We saw the sign on the highway and it sounded exactly what we were looking for. After a long day's drive we were looking for a good late lunch. This place came through in spades. We had the roast beef sandwich and the... More
