We travel a lot on Vancouver Island, and we eat at a lot of pretty special places. None of them has equalled the calibre of the wonderful food and great service at Locals. We have eaten many meals at this outstanding restaurant, and look forward to joining the staff at Locals soon at their new location at The Old House.

I have never written a review; but after our horrible experience at Locals I felt something needed to be said. We took our mother here for Mother's Day. Four of us ordered different things Every one was delicious. Nice atmosphere. Friendly service. This restaurant will be moving to the Old house spa and Hotel which will be a real advantage

Delicious food at a reasonable price. We both had fresh seafood prepared the way we chose. Also there was a three course dinner option for a very good price. Nice wine list and excellent service. It's top rated for a reason.

I was surprised though when shortly after we were seated a table immediately next to us become occupied with 2 very young children, I don't think one of the children was even 2 years old. Excellent menu relying on local produce. Everything is well prepared and presented. The clam chowder is the BEST. Staff are very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for both lunch and dinner.
