Visited the restaurant with group of nine people. We tried their house specialities on the patio overlooking St Lawrence River. Clam chowder soup, and Montreal smoked meat and calamari dishes were excellent, fish and chips was good. In summary, everything was well prepared and well served.

We had the Special "8 oz New York Cut" which was very good. It surprised us that we did not get any bread to munch on while waiting for our meal. The service wasprompt and friendly and the deserts were delicious. The decor is that of an old style pub so although everything was fine we only give this place... More

Overlooking the bay at Gan. In the summer the tour boats are coming and going and you can sit on the roof top patio and enjoy the waterfront view. The wings are excellent. Old Hotel décor. Street level with lots of free parking.

The Gan Inn used to be THE place for fine dining and where would go for our special occasion meals, but since some better establishments have opened in town, we no long go. It is expensive and the majority of patrons are tourists. Wonderful view in the summer time though!

While I recommend their deck in the summer, for lunch, I cannot say the same for their dinner service. I recently went for dinner on a Sunday evening with three friends, and we were extremely disapppointed with the quality of the food. The roast chicken was dry, the medium rare prime rib ranged from medium rare to rare to blue... More

Stopped here for lunch before taking the 1000 Island Boat Tour. Good menu selection. Seafood clam chowder about the best I have had. Totally recommended. Staff were friendly and courteous. It has a beautiful lounge with a. Raging fire to keep oneself warm.

This restaurant in The Gananoque Inn provides a lovely retreat for a meal with friends. The inn is beautifully decorated with antique furniture that provides the charm of a bygone era. The view of the harbour where the tour boats that take guests through the beautiful Thousand Islands provides a perfect setting. The restaurant is quiet so it is possible... More
