Sells supermarket pizza at restaurant prices. If you're after a "safe" chain. Wildwood and Bella Italia are both much better.
I went in early October with three family members (one of whom is a young child). The food is the same as every other Pizza Express in the country. What sets this one apart is the actual premises. I am given to understand that this building formerly used to be a rather exclusive members club - very Cambridge indeed. The... More
Pizza Express is the only place my husband will go for a pizza. Another parental visit to Cambridge to take our son out to lunch... Spacious, airy and bright. Attentive service and very good pizzas, pastas, salads and desserts. Uni students in Cambridge are really spoilt for choice when it comes to eating places and watering holes!
This restaurant is round the corner from the ADC theatre where we were due to attend a performance. It's in the former Pitt Club, which I remember from the days when it was a French restaurant with a fountain in the dining room. Pizza Express has decorated it pleasantly although it feels a little too open but maybe it's not... More

You know what you're getting with Pizza Express and the Cambridge editions of this chain don't disappoint.
This is a great venue, very pleasant inside and the main restaurant area is unusual too with lots of mirrors giving the feeling of space and openness. The staff are very efficient and the food is always good and comes quickly. One of the best Pizza Express restaurants I have eaten in. Well worth checking it out. It is so... More
liked the friendliness of this place. The food was great and served quick. Esp as it was for our lunch
A lovely building which was beautifully cool on a very hot day. Nice staff and all the Pizza Express favourites on the menu. We visited as a family at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon - after the lunch rush and before the evening got busy. It was perfect for us.
We have eaten at this Pizza Express many times. The food is always good, the service is excellent and the prices are very good, especially with their frequent voucher offers. Yes, it's a chain but it's a good one.
