Went there for a Sunday lunch with the family and was so surprised with the beautiful location where the restaurant is located. Close to the entrance of the restaurant their is a stream of water running through and the grounds are beautifully kept to perfection. Upon arriving in the restaurant we are catered to our table with a friendly waitress....

It's located in a (really) very nice and quiet village in the Cotswolds. There is a river along the road with small stone bridges allowing to walk to the other side where some great old-looking houses are located. One of them hosts the Rose Tree restaurant: a cozy atmosphere, a very good service, very good meals and reasonable prices. Together...

My first visit to the Cotswolds so I was expecting country hospitality. It was sadly lacking by the staff who were rude and unhelpful. Arrived on a cold afternoon and was told they would only serve us if we sat outside as they were preparing for dinner. It was 5.15 pm and dinner starts at 6 pm. Felt it was...

The lamb shank had a wonderful sauce and was so tender. My chicken dsh was very good. The vegetables were cooked well and were appealing. Our starters were also excellent. Although we...

We were in Boughton on the water On a red hot May bank holiday, it was sooooo busy. A real buzz, people everywhere, children in the stream, as well as ponies and carts. We walked up and down several times in search of somewhere decent to eat but we had eyed up this place and kept walking past in the...
