Visited with my family for Saturday lunch. We were seated by the window where we could watch the comings and goings in the old narrow street outside. This was my first visit although my son and daughter-in-law have visited before on more than one occasion.
The welcome from the staff was good and the tabke service from the young waiter was...

I went here with my partner on my birthday - we were treated like royalty and the food was incredible! An excellent choice for any occasion, but made my birthday unforgettable.
Popped in for lunch and had sandwiches and chips which came with crisps and salad and a good portion. Puddings (apple crumble and cheesecake ) were huge and absolutely beautiful. The service was excellent and value very good
I am confused when read the other reviews for this restaurant. I found the portion sizes small and the prices high. Also the service was not spectacular. The Starter was £7. A great selection of food and wine, served exceptionally well -good customer service here. And the addition of real piano music in the background tops...

Our family of four (children 13 & 10) really enjoyed our meal at Deeson's -- really fine British Cuisine in a nice atmosphere.
Service was prompt and friendly too.
My wife had the seafood platter starter and salmon main. I had the soup and roast duck. Again, simply outstanding. The children split the stuffed chicken and that worked out well...

I am a fifty something, but my daughter who is 24 raves about it and goes there with her friends and is very enjoyable. The food is locally sourced, the selection is always good...

My wife and I visited Deesons on Saturday 4th May 2013. The food was all good, the service was great and we met Sam Deeson, the owner, who was a great host. You should check out the video's of the Restaurant and "The Bunker", you will be impressed in how this restaurant works. It really does work well too! I...

Organising a meal for a large group has always been a nightmare. With Deeson's it could have not been more easier. Sam, was most helpful and sent me a set menu with several choices of starters, mains and deserts. The service was better than excellent, the wine waitress was able to provide separate drink bills for everyone. The food was...
