Took my wife for her birthday, the food is very good. We had the set meals 2 bottles of Singha lager and 2 sweets £53 which was reasonable. All courses were delicious.
We went here on a Saturday night, we went out pretty early due to being out walking all day and we were hungry. We've often eaten in Thai restaurants so we know the drill. We were seated quickly, there's plenty of room inside, it's a big place. Drinks came quickly and so did the food, we had mixed starter and... More
The waitress was very helpful as it was a new experience for the 4 of us, she advised us what everything was, even down to "sticky rice" :-) the only thing we found off putting was the price of the drinks which we thought was a bit high.
Went to Keswick for the day and looked for somewhere different to eat at lunch time as we were a bit put off with the huge portions they seem to serve in this part of England. Did not like the look of some of the pubs, although they were clean enough they mostly were dog friendly, which we are not.... More
We were a table of 5 who ordered the set menu for £19.95. The starters took over half an hour to arrive and were clearly reheated from frozen, in fact I have eaten better from Iceland. Then the main course took over an hour to arrive after much chasing and arguing with the staff who claimed they were busy (this... More
Attentive staff served us from an extensive menu. Our soups were good and well spiced but the main courses when they came looked unappetising. The prawn curry was a garish yellow and the stir fry a uniform sludgy brown with thick stodgy noodles. The salad was more attractive but had been doused in chilli and was practically uneatable.
Went here with a group of friends and was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. Starters arrived and appeared to be reheated frozen crap - rubber frozen fish cakes are unforgivable. Main course arrived and the sauce was okay but the beef seemed to be reconstituted and rubbery made to look a little like beef!!! Do not waste... More
We have eaten here before and never had any problems, however this time we were travelling with our young son who goes to bed early so we decided to try the takeaway option. The food was perfect, just as nice as if we had eaten in the restaurant. The staff were friendly when we ordered and collected and offered us... More
Nice restaurant, friendly and attentive staff, and a good menu, but sadly let down by the food. My duck curry was rubbery and a little bland, though my partner had the special (sea bream) which he said was better. As previous reviewers have said, disappointingly average
We were five people, three arriving later than the rest of us, but this was no problem at all to the staff. We picked the set menu, but much of the food was very uninteresting and good left behind. That included the tofu dish and the seafood curry. Starters were actually by far the best. Crisp rolls, nice chicken skewer,... More
