Description: First built in 1854 as a private country retreat and housing an unmissable 200 year old cedar tree in its grounds, tradition and a sense of place are important to both the look and the food at The Cedar Manor Hotel and Restaurant. You���ll find Cedar Manor offers a seasonally changing a la carte and table d���hote menu of classic British food on which all produce is sourced from providers based in the surrounding Lake District. Totally fantastic food and very attentive service. Would have liked a little more light than candlelight but that is nit-picking. Well worth a visit for the fantastic food and was really busy even on a snowy Monday so worth booking ahead.

Incredible food, fantastic service, loved the decor, great wine list. Not much more to say; if you can afford to come here during your trip to the lake district, do it. Will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the county!

Whilst staying in Winderemere we were recommended to Cedar Manor and it was a most comfortable and enjoyable experience - The patron was most friendly as was the staff .
