A Sunday lunch venue without a traditional roast! Like many people, we are trying to cut down on meat intake, so we opted for our first visit to the renowned on this trip to Bath. The restaurant is small, and diners are crammed in, but we were placed at the back near a window so although no views (a blank...

Having booked the Spa experience in Bath we decided to visit this restaurant as it advertises Gluten free vegetarian food which as a coeliac is sometimes hard to find.
The restaurant itself is quite charming by way of decor and the staff friendly, however it was very cold inside, a chilly day and the windows were fully open and the...

Not being vegetarian should not put you off seeking out a table on Demuths. The menu is varied and interesting and the atmosphere convivial. Staff were friendly and service was fine. Our meals tasted delicious- carrot and cashew pâté was very tasty as was the asparagus for starters and the trio of beetroot, vegetable curry and ricotta fritters were all...

Service friendly but quite slow. We've avoided it for a couple of years after 2 bad service experiences; this time it was faster, but still not the speediest. Food is quite inventive and it's lovely to have lots of choice for once. Food is well presented.

But if you are open to trying well prepared and interesting taste combinations with bags of flavour then it should definitely...

Not being a vegetarian, I wasn't excited to try this place. But it was wonderful! Presentation was imaginative, staff (Ray) was helpful, attentive and available. I would suggest this to anyone looking for a great meal in Bath.
I visited Demuths with three vegetarians so was naturally sceptical. However, I had to "eat my words" as this was one of the most delicious meals I have eaten for a long time. All the dishes were to an exceptional "fine dining" standard and beautifully arranged. The waiting staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about the food. The restaurant is...

The only reason I have not given this an excellent rating is that I did not think the response was very good when I asked for a table. There wasn't a space available and I was told to come back in 20 minutes which was fine. The waiter may have been having an off moment as when I came back...

We were thrilled to find this restaurant offering fresh, local, seasonal and creative vegetarian fine dining....and food that tasted really good. Creative in the sense that all dishes, whether appetizers or main, were an adventure in flavours of the components complementing each other
I am vegan and so much of other restaurant veg foods are flat and boring...Demuths was a...
