This is a cosy little restaurant where you are greeted as if into a family and treated to a fantastic feast. It was a real find and cannot wait to go back. We have recommended it to loads of people and everyone has been delighted -

Visited here on a Saturday evening with my girlfriend based on the restaurant having a high ranking on tripadvisor. My expectations were fairly high before we even entered!
We were seated downstairs and were felt like we had walked into someone’s home, which we were not sure if this was a good thing or not. But anyway, onto the food......

What a lovely place, small, lively, serving good food. Very friendly staff. The owner made us feel at home and we chatted with the chef while he was cooking. To be recommended.
Great simple food , cooked very well. Fresh fish and pasta all washed down with some lovely Italian wine. Great service And very friendly staff . Be back very soon.
This is a good place for "foodies". The focus is on food and service and not on a fancy and pretentious atmosphere.
The food is very good - my pasta was perfectly cooked, and the fish was done correctly. Flavors were very nice. I've been here twice now and it doesn't disappointed. I also like the simple yet stylish wooden...

visited on a Sunday evening. It was quiet but still a nice atmosphere. Very nice food, not the usual Italian food which made it all the better!

The wine was v good and the food all cooked in a little kitchen which you can see from the dining room. The food was very good, all fresh and homemade. Good quality bresaola and mozzarella to start plus perfectly...

I was told to expect a basic interior - that helped set my expectations.
It did not matter. The atmosphere, the service and the food and the wine was spectacular!
My partner and I could have been in Italy on holiday at the best Bistro in town. That's exactly how we felt.
Locals, don't be fooled by the appearance. Go...
