On spec visit to "The Swan" Saturday, happy to see it has reopened with a lovely atmosphere, happy attentive staff and lovely food. Nothing too much trouble, and a "Lemon Drizzle Cake" dessert to rival my own. Well done, we will be back soon Karen and Martin

Just got home from enjoying a suberb meal at The Swan. We had a warm and lovely welcome considering we were late arriving, nothing was too much trouble. The service was also excellent, would definitely recommend to anyone, well worth a visit!

Again the Swan has new owners but they mean it this time ! We went on Sunday the 28th of January for the opening of the restaurant and had a delicious carvery. The food and service was first class. We met the new chef today and what a terrific man he is, the sunday carvery was home from home. We... More

So sad to see that the Swan has closed down. I hope someone can revive this lovely old pub where I had so many good times.

Started using the Swan again when the new team took over as we thought we would support our local pub. Although the other pub in the villiage is closer we are now completely sold on this venue. The host and his team are always welcoming and friendly and the food is just fantastic. In all the time we have been... More

Decided to visit the Swan with friends to catch up over a meal and a drink. Since being taken over the management and staff have really turned the place around - the inside and outside look really good, with a lovely beer garden to the rear, and an outside area to sit with a patio heater for those cooler nights.... My partner and I went to the Swan for the first time in 3 years after reading some good reviews on Tadvisor... The last time we visited we vowed never again as the management had changed and the service + quality was awful. Im glad to say that we were surprised by the sharp decor, clearly not done by a... After witnessing a spruce up yet again in the last 12 months and the 2 for 10 banner going, thought it was time to give it a go again. They really did spoil this Pub some years ago when the tried to turn it into a Restaurant Welcomed on a Tuesday evening and offered a table for two, ushered to... More

Dear Sir, With all due respect I would like to point out a couple of things to you regarding your review: - We never advertised "2 for 10" on a banner during the last 18 months while running our dining pub. -If you read the menu you would've seen the * indicating only 1 starter and 2 mains not applicable... We went to The Swan last night with the parents. I did read the reviews first so i was prepared for either a good night or a bad one. For a saturday night it was not too busy. The menu was pretty basic with some specials on the board. I had the goats cheese tartlet which was nice. everyone else... More
