The Potted pig is a welcoming place and the food is good. The varieties of gin were impressive so I had to sample a few!! The menu is not as varied as I would have liked but what was there was good. I had the braised ox cheek and it was lovely. Will try it again for the sucking pig... More

We went here for a team lunch. It was a great venue, we had a round table so it was easy to chat to everyone. Couldn't fault the food or the service!

Went here for a friend's 30th, the food was great and the service up to and including this was fine. However, once food was eaten, the group wanted a few G&T's. I was somewhat tentative of bringing my partner there this week (Tues 7th May) after visiting for lunch over Bank Holiday weekend. The food was absolutely wonderful...cockles and bacon on toast with laver bread...and the pulled pork sandwich...not for the fainthearted!!! For less than £20 a head for 2 courses and drinks this was incredible. I still dream about this meal. Nothing will ever compare to it. My only slight criticism was the ambience wasn't what I expected, but I suppose it's expected for Sunday lunch. Tip - have the sticky toffee pudding. Wow.
