Wow what a fantastic place, been a good 3 or 4 times now and still in love with this place. For what you get the price isn't expensive.

Although this is one of Edinburghs nicest restaurants it is also one of the more expensive. The food here, whilst good, failed to reach the high standards of Martin Wishart or Dominic Jack. I found two courses on the tasting menu out of step with the others in terms of quality, which was otherwise very high.

The best restaurant in the UK, delicious and exclusive dishes. All the members of the staff were really kind and the service was superb! beyond our expectations. My husband and I went to the Balmoral Bar for a coctail before dinning in Number One Restaurant and everithing was lovely aswell.

A comfortable restaurant with excellent furnishings. Staff very attentive. Food delicious but not over complicated. Pricey,but worth it
