Liked the convenience of not having oleave the hotel to eat, staff was very courteous and friend,y, food a notch above pub fare.

We loved the food and the atmosphere along with wonderful traditional Irish music! We got there just at closing for the kitchen, but the chef let us order...ate Sausage with Black Pudding and Mash...delicious!

We like the atmosphere in the Poet's Corner, so we go there occasionally. My partner likes it more than I do, because there's very little there that's vegan-friendly. Visited The Poets Corner recently after it was recommended to me by a friend. My lamb cutlets were divine and cooked to perfection! I had 3 young kids with me and they had toasted specials which they enjoyed immensely. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and the atmosphere was lovely. A real treat!

The food, the service, the atmosphere is always good here...the staff are friendly and professional. A great place to while away to relax with friends or family.

We stayed in the Old Ground last weekend and this pub was always thronged with happy people. We just had soup at the bar at lunchtime as we were still well filled after delicious breakfasts!
