This place never fails to deliver, great staff, great pub, great location. A good auld fashioned pub, a country touch in an urban surrounding. Their whiskey comes highly recommended. Love this pub.

No TV, very good beer range, great staff (apart from yer man in the glasses...you know who you are!), most comfortable bar seats in Ireland, great ambiance, great stained glass window, and a grand mixed crowd. Visit the Palace if you are a tourist in the middle of Dublin - it's the real deal, and we who live in Dublin... More

We are probably biased as this pub was a minutes walk from our hotel (Temple bar) but the staff and clientle were very friendly without being overpowering and was how you would expect an old Irish pub to be

We popped in here recently and had a lovely time in the quaint snug. The staff are very courteous and friendly. We tried some craft beers and cheese too.

On fleet street near Temple Bar. Unique traditional Irish bar. It has the atmosphere of a local bar despite being in the city centre.

One of the oldest bars in Dublin situated on the edge of Temple Bar that has not changed much since I first visited over 30 years ago. Can get very packed so its advisable to go early. They have a lovely snug just inside the door but you'll be doing well to get it! Tourists and locals mix well here... More

The Palace is a great pub to just sit, enjoy a pint and some conversation. No television, no loud music, friendly bar keepers - just a great place to relax and raise a pint. We met a gentleman from Limerick the afternoon we visited while on vacation and the before we knew it we had two pints and chatted for... More
