One of my favourite places to eat in Dublin. The lunch and early bird menus are excellent value, and the wine of the month is also worth trying. It's also nice to be able to share a carafe of wine when you're not in the mood for a full bottle. It's far better value for money than other, more 'upmarket'... More

This is and absolutely fabulous restaurant with amazing staff and spectacular food. The food was fantastic, I had the poached egg, bacon, bread, cheese, and a fabulous sauce. Then pork belly, with gorgeous red cabbage, lastly the plum and marscaponé cheese, I will definitely go back. The best restaurant I have ever been to in Ireland. Epic experience. Hope you... More

I've eaten here a good few times over the years and have never been disappointed. The service is excellent - very attentive and pleasant French staff, and the atmosphere is very nice in the smallish front part of the restaurant. The food was delicious. I had the smoked salmon starter, while my fiancé had the asparagus with poached egg yolks.... More

A very pleasant experience - excellent food, friendly and efficient staff, great value. I had the mussels as a starter and fish to continue. Very good cheese selection. Also the coffee is just right!

Went for the second time to La Mere Zou and again was really happy with the quality of the food and the service. Prices were reasonable. The wine list could be improved imo.

Really impressive French food, the starts, mains and desserts were all delicious and impeccably presented. Very impressive restaurant and well worth the price.

Just had another excellent dinner last night. The Early Bird is really good value and the food is consistently impressive in the restaurant. There is a very nice atmosphere; the staff are friendly and the service is excellent without being in your face. Very enjoyable night

I went there for a team night out, and it was brilliant! Great way to introduce the best of French food to Irish/Spanish/Portuguese.. colleagues! We went for the early bird, and I thought it was a really good deal for the quality of the food and the place. The place is really nice, cosy, warm, you feel comfortable. The waiters... More

I ate here as part of a lunch deal from rewarding times. Given that it was a set menu, I didn't have my expectations set too high but we were both pleasantly surprised. The house white was excellent and the all three courses were beautiful. I had French onion soup, hake for mains and chargrilled mango for desert. My dad... More
