Really clean, well presented, friendly staff, great service, fabulous food - what more could you ask for. Been there three times in the last few weeks and it's always been great!! If you like Indian food but fancy something a little different try the Gurkha specials. Superb.

Went to Gurkha Village with friends on a Group-On for 4 and got the usual fab food and service. We always ask the chef to create us a meal - you can tell them 'a meal to share for £15 a head', (or whatever your budget is) and they have always come up with wonderful selections. We always recommend it... More

I have been visiting this restaurant since it opened. It is the only one serving authentic INDIAN style of food as. All other restaurants in Swindon are Bangladeshi and a far cry from authentic Indian cuisine. Food is always tasty and good value for money. Sometimes the staff get overwhelmed if the place is busy on weekends and make mistakes... More

I visited this restaurant with some friends on Saturday 27th April 2013. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted by friendly staff who showed us directly to our table. The staff were also very helpful in offering advise to the different foods on offer. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a place to eat especially... More

I love Ghurka Village. Been there for three times now. And it really stands out between all the other average indian restaurants in Swindon. Staff is always friendly. Great place.

Great food, atmosphere and very polite staff. Popped in off the cuff on Saturday early evening as been meaning to go there for ages and was not disappointed. Good menu choice

We have long been fans of this restaurant and have recommended it to friends on numerous occasions; however, sadly, we won't be recommending it for the foreseeable future. The service has certainly gone down hill - BRING BACK THE OLD TEAM! - with poorly attentive waiters and waitresses who need to be asked 3+ times for a glass of water.... More

We had a groupon voucher to dine at Gurkha Village and having heard good things from friends it didn't disappoint. We had onion bhaji and Gurkha roll to start. The bhaji were the best I have ever tasted and the Gurkha roll was a chapatti full of tasty chicken. For main we had lamb dumplings and chilli chicken with rice... More
