A little out of the way for us but worth the trip. Interesting menu choices, well presented; a relatively small restaurant with a neighbourhood feel and warmth.
Went to restaurant upon recommendation of concierge at hotel. Took a quick rickshaw bike ride to restaurant a five minute jaunt tucked away in a very pleasant side street near the Eiffel Tower. Very friendly restaurant with a very engaging owner. Three of us shared a beef dish. Others had fish. Wine was an average burgundy suggested by the waiter.... More
We booked this restaurant because it got some very good reviews on Trip Advisor. Perhaps we caught them on a bad night, but unfortunately, our experience left us wondering how it managed to earn them. It is definitely one of the more attractive restaurants in this area but I was not so impressed by the quality of the service or... More
Our two-and-a-half hour dinner for four at Firmin le Barbier was a gastronomic highlight of our recent two-week stay in Paris. The evening view of the nearby Eiffel Tower as we entered set the tone. The small dining room was filled, mostly with non-Parisians, on this Friday night, and we were glad to have made reservations. The menu was small... More
We choose this restaurant via lonely planet recommendation and was not disappointed. The service and food was amazing. Also close to Eiffel Tower if you decide to visit at night. All four of us choose different dishes and desserts and were not disappointed. Definitely a restaurant i would go back to.
I went to this restaurant based on its reviews on Trip Advisor. Very glad we did. It's everything and more it was described as. The owner is lovely gentleman and really cared about the whole experience we were having. The waiter was really good and spoke very good English and really explained what all the dishes were. My fiance is... More
We went here based on trip advisor and I'm really pleased we did. This food was some of the best I have ever eaten, from the aerated soup to the macaroon desert, everything was tasty and made with love. It took a little while to get the bill at the end of the night but this was a very small... More
We went for a birthday treat and had the best meal and service ever. The owner treated us to a half bottle of very very expensive sauternes to accompany the foie gras. Roxanne the waitress explained every dish in detail. All six of us rated this as the best eating experience we could remember. As there are only about 26... More
Exactly what we were hoping for. A small quaint owner-run restaurant. Menu changes every day and is somewhat limited as a result. Very solid quality food and extremely helpful staff and owner. A unique experience.
After some recommendations, i made a reservation online and looked forward to the dinner. The restaurant was a short walk from the Effiel tower. The staff was warm and friendly, and the restaurant was full. My husband's fish was average, and I ordered a steak which was badly done. The meat was so tough that I could not chew it,... More
