We walked out of our way to get to this famous bakery (NOT a restaurant), and even though we arrived during the hours posted on the doors, the doors were locked. No note of explanation. So don't take it for granted. I heard the macaroons were the best, hopefully I'll be able to try them someday!
There are many branches all over Paris, the one we visited was close to our apartment in the 15th arrondisment. The shop was beautiful, and the clerks were very helpful and patient. They wrap everything up as little presents. The pastries were delicious.
I fail to understand why this is rated as a restaurant as its a patisserie. Macaron are good but very very sweet.

what can i say that hasn't been said? go in and pick some treats. cart the beautiful package with you to the nearest park and consume away. we polished one off on the way to the park. and saved some for the next day too.
