It is a good restaurant but the prices are high . The staff is changing often so they don' t know the menu well, which is difficult if you want any suggestions about the food .
I have visited this restaurant previously 'as a treat' and this year we ended up going three times. I cannot recommend dishes such as crostilliant du porc and the Vietnamese Curry enough. The beef brochettes, the Thai chicken skewers... Oh I could go on! Just enjoy it, yes they are expensive but this year the service was far 'happier' than... More
Overpriced and small portions is my review title and that's the negatives. However there are positives being tasty good food a great ambience sat outside on this busy atmospheric strip watching the world go by. Back to the review title, 8 euros for one bowl of chicken and sweetcorn soup is ott, especially as it literally is a small bowl and... More
Still can't believe they charged for tap water, in France, for 7 euros!!! Apart than that all was perfect. The food was well done and the place is very attractive, full of people. In the menu you find not only Chinese but Japanese, Singapore, Thai and Vietnamese cuisine. The portions are quite big, well served in quantity, so in the... More
I visited this place for my love for Chinese food and I was not disappointed. We tried two types of noodles, both were really well prepared, do try the spring rolls, they are delicious. I didn't like the sweet chicken curry we ordered though. All the dishes were nicely served. Nice decor.
Living in antibes since 10 years this is my favorite restaurant. The service is friendly, you get an aperitif when you arrive on the house. Excellent food and a beautiful setting. Just love it, inside and outside on the terrace. Great decor. Love it, a must in Antibes.
On holiday near Grasse with my husband and his parents we visited Antibes and went into Ancre De Chine based on the menu and the average Trip Advisor rating. We'd been to typical french restaurants and cafes all week so fancied a different cuisine. The menu is good, a selection of fairly typical Chinese and Thai dishes that any British... More
The service was very good and the location is lovely on a large pedestrian street with outside seating. However, we were disappointed with the Thai food. The soup was average, the beef salad was ok, the spring rolls were absolutely awful - they could have come from a market freezer and would have been better, however, the BBQ shrimp were... More
The area near the marina in the old town of Antibes was not too inviting, but this restaurant glowed in reds and purples the night we visited, and attracted us immediately. We are picky with restaurants, and we always consider the care put into the decor and details to give a picture of the intentions of the place. Does it... More
We visited this restaurant twice whilst travelling around the south of France. The service was very fast, food great and waiters pleasant. Would recommend you to go here if you like Chinese or thai food
