Tiny place. Bit like eating in someone's busy kitchen. Straight-forward traditional menu decently-cooked. Absolutely fine.
My wife and I were in Cannes one evening (mid-week) with our teenage son and decided on an early dinner in town rather than driving home and cooking for ourselves. After wandering around for a while looking for somewhere that looked interesting, we stumbled on La Farigoule - and what a nice surprise. Often in the back streets of Riviera... More
Staff were lovely, they explained every bit of the menu to us, service, food and prices were perfect!
Had a nice lunch here. For €26 euros we got a large chicken liver salad and fried courgettes, 2 cokes. Nice relaxing atmosphere, staff were attentive, little slow to give us the bill Nice overall!
We explored Rue Meynadier and was greeted quite friendly by one of the owners. Absolutely pleased with the Moules and Bouillabaisse. Although had to wait quite some time for the Frites to appear. A minute little place, with owners who remind of the "female version of the hairy bikers."
My daughter and I visited this restaurant at the end of August 2013. The staff were pleasant, but pushy, especially when trying to get people into the restaurant and asking if you wanted anything else. They also never commented on the fact most of our food went back. Unfortunately we gave in to the nagging and agreed to eat there.... More
We were really pleased with our choice to eat here. What a great little restaurant with a very welcoming owner. The food was delicious, we had prawns and moules etc . It was beautifully cooked and one of my sons thought it was the best spaghetti bolognese he had ever had. We thought it was a brilliant value for the... More
If you need a fast meal of basic French food this is the place. The menu is never changing, but it works well here, since they make that well. To This is what I will call value for money, relative good quality to low price. The staff is a study in in own right. They work like a well services... More
What an amazing surprise this place was. A tiny restaurant, with a fabulous set menu, excellent price, and entertaining hostess! Our party included 1 vegetarian, and 3 meat eaters, the kitchen was very accommodating in adjusting the set menu to suit a vegetarian. We ordered some local wine, relaxed, and enjoyed the vibrant conversation with the Hostess who did a... More
Very tasty food, seasoned with garlic and local spices. Excellent provençales tartes and rosé wine. Not a huge menu, but everything in it has to be tasted. A must try: pfeffer steak, aka coeur du boeuf, tarte au limon ou orange, fleurs de courgette with a very nice garlic, spicy seasoning. It's not cheap, however reasonably for Cannes. Tip: book... More
