Description: Simply stylish and cool. The dining area is a bright room with a parquet floor, flowers, white chairs, wooden tables and large, colourful paintings on the walls. The tables are beautifully laid. The restaurant is popular with its regulars and the gourmets and the staff are friendly and good at what they do. The restaurant serves creamed chestnut soup, pheasant breast and veal loin. You can order the dishes individually or as a set menu. The restaurant also offers a decent selection of European wine. The wooden bar area, with a large spherical lampshade overhanging it, makes a very attractive feature.

For people somewhat familiar with Michelin type dinning experiences, Tramin offers something a little different. It´s a small restaurant with a very relaxed setting, opposite the more formal and sometimes even "stuffy" environment you would normally find at a Michelin starred restaurant. The Tramin staff is also lots of fun, joking with us at times, and one of them even... More

We spent a couple of days in Munich in October and found Tramin online looking for a Michelin starred restaurant with something a bit different. This place is fantastic and I cannot praise it enough - we had one the best meals I've ever had. The tasting menu was incredible: imaginative, delicious and brilliantly executed. It was miles better than... More

Tramin was recommended by the executive chef on our Viking Cruise which led us to make a reservation during our Munich vacation in Sept 2012. This is a terrific restaurant in a quiet area. The staff was top notch but not stuffy at all. We took the 5 course offering with wine pairing. This is one of the top eating... More

Recently went to Tramin to celebrate our 25th Anniversary. This restaurant is about a 15 minute walk from Hotel Torbrau. This is not a traditional German restaurant and is known for its unique food. It has a MIchelin Star. Very small restaurant with a different style of choosing your foods. You will tell the waitress what you like and what... More

This restaurant has a star and it's well earned, we were there twice ( new years evening, when they had just received the star and two months later) - both times a great experience! The staff is friendly and jolly, we liked it a lot! We were taken there by frequenters (thanks Tilo and Eiby) and felt us at once... More

Tramin's Michelin star is fairly new, but based on the dinner i had last night it is absolutely well deserved. Every course was gorgeous, truly lovely. In fact, both the cooking and the service was outstanding. I honestly do not have a single negative thing to say about it. Yes, places like this are pricey... But when they are as... More

An excellent dining experience in this very nice restaurant. Friendly unpretentious and helpful serving, creative and well tasting dishes well thought wine pairing. In my view also reasonably priced for what it offers (euro 125/ person for a 6 course meal wine pairing included). You can choose from a 4, 5, 6 , or 7 course meal and wait to... More

We've had the pleasure of eating here several times, including selecting this resto as our Christmas party venue (yep, it was that good). We are convinced that Chef Holger is on his way to 'stardom' (the Michelin kind) at some point. Typically there is a multi-course menu on offer, you can select how many courses you are in the mood...
