Very pleaseant room, and very friendly staff. The food is traditional, and very good. The wine list is poor, except for german wines. The wines are too expensive.

Travelled over to the Bauma exhibition and sought out a proper Bavarian restaurant and am very glad we did. Spent a long lunch here in charming surroundings with great food and wine and excellent service. Food tends to be a bit heavier than say the euro norm however the day was cold and miserable so it suited very well. During...

If tou are in Munich, dont miss this place. Great German atmosphere and great service. The starters were excellent. Great wines and reasonable prices.
After a day walking around in Munich and soaking up the crouds and Christmas decor we visited Pfistermuhle. The restaurant was decorated also and the food and service were wonderful.A great last evening in Munich to remember.
Traditional Bayerne food with a modern twist....restaurant is in a building that dates to 1543. The building is classy, service is smart and friendly. Nice wine list and a very good choice of entrees on the menu. I had the duck breast and it was done to perfection....Highly recommended....
This german tavern in a 1573 old building just off Marienplatz serves bavarian dishes in a traditional environment. Game is the reigning component of the menu, so you should avoid the place if you are not a dedicated carnivore...Service was polite and fast but prices a little on the tourist side of the cash register... We had lobster for starters...

Lovely small restaurant in a delightful old building. Superb service and amazing menu and outstanding food of exceptional quality. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening and would definitely return, only gripe would be a rather pricey wine list.
Loved the vaulted ceilings and candle light. Service was excellent and food done perfectly. Lots of game so if you don't eat deer, rabbit or duck you can still get a beautiful piece of lamb. The pumpkin risotto was a perfect vegetarian dish. My one thought is that it is pricey but you really do get what you pay for....

A quiet, romantic, quality German restaurant in the heart of old town. Entrees from 20-40 euros, but food and service make the price well worth it. Extensive wine list, good selection of Ayinger beers.
The copper pot meal included soup, vegetables, potatoes and melt in your mouth roast beef. Bone marrow and brown bread to finish for something different. An...

My wife and I visited based on online reviews and were not disappointed. We started with terrine of goose liver and lobster bisque, had venison and boar for entrees, and finished with a generous cheese plate. The meal was excellent and the dry German red we enjoyed was surprisingly excellent.
We found the wait staff very attentive and in very...
