La Paradeta is a seafood lovers dream! We arrived "early" for Spanish time dinner and there was a line, which got progressively longer! The array of fresh seafood cooked to order was outstanding--fresh oysters, razor clams, berberechos, mussels, monk fish, lobster, and crab and more! You pick your fish like in a fish market and decide how to have it... More

Make sure to turn up early (no later than 19.40) as the restaurant opens at 20:00. Select your chioice of seafood directly from the counter, select wine/drinks, salad and bread... and be surprised how the kichen will combine your dinner. There are no waiters, your number will be announced and you go an collect your meal. Oisters are often big... More

Fantastic restaurant!!! Long queue, but it was worth! Just 28 € and we had a lot of everything! All the fish you can imagine! Tuna is absoloutely perfect! Clam "a la marinera" exceptional, muscles the same! And what about schrimpf, prawn and squids!!! Yuuuum yummmm! Fried or "a la plancha" everything tastes specially! I suggest to drink also a lot... This place is amazing, you pick your favourite fish or seafood and they cook it the way you like it . Price are very reasonable and food tastes divine one thing might others off is the service a bit spartan.

You have to go early in this funny restaurant to eat fish! We start by doing a little 'waiting at the entrance, to pass in front of the counter and decide what to order ... what is chosen, is weighed in front of your eyes and then you are asked for the way of cooking (fried or grilled mostly). After... More

La Paradeta has several restaurants around Barcelona and is worth a visit for their great seafood. No reservations, locals and tourists begin lining up before they open. Prices are reasonable and it is quite an experience. As you enter, there is a large display of seafood on ice and you select the amount of each you want cooked and tell... More

My partner and I visited La Paradeta in Born on our first night in Barcelona. The hotel receptionist had recommended it to us. We were advised to get there early as it is popular. We got there about 15 minutes before opening for the evening, they are open from 20:00 till 23:30. There was already about 10 people in the... More

I can not say that food in Paradeta is not good, not tasty.... it is just normal. I totally don´t agree with people giving this place 5 stars. There is variaty of sea food that you buy by weight and can have it done in two different styles but this is low quality sea food... Navajas are tiny and very... More
