we ordered pizza and it was good, but the place was not very nice. there are many pizzerias around, so you can find better one.
I think this is probably the first time I have written a bad review, since I tend to look for the positives - but I need to tell you to steer clear of this place We were hungry and slightly panicked that places were closing so we jumped into this side street pizzeria/trattoria Result - the location is on the... Staying at the hotel Toledo, I ended up in Pizza e Baba twice because it's in 2 steps from the hotel. First time I ate fish (which was good). I ordered a glass of red wine (I don't like white even with fish), but the waiter brought me a glass of white wine and disappeared so I even didn't have... More
My wife has milk allergy and the owner was super helpufull in making a milk free pizza and even came back after we got the pizza and took my wifes half nack cause he found out the ham on the pizza had lactic sugar in it so he took it back amd made her whole new pizza. It's service like... More
By this stage of our visit, we'd consumed quite a few pizzas in Napoli so I feel more able to judge the quality. Our pizzas appeared faster than any other place we'd been. The crusts were burnt which seemed odd. They were also extremely salty and we needed find a water fountain to drink a few litres of water to... More
Great pizza, great price, however the seating arrangement was a bit weird. We were sitting outside in a small street (the tables and chairs took up the whole width of lane) and there was people walking between the tables whilst we were eating. We were quickly seated, but it took quite a while to get the bill after we had... More
We have been going at this pizzeria for years now when only the pizza menu was in English and waiters didn’t speak much English. Things changed in time, an English menu is in place, wi-fi, an additional sitting place with a big plasma, mostly Italian football is on all the time. We know what to expect: very good pizza and... The places we originally wanted to go to were booked up so we ended up at this restaurant by accident. However, despite the fact there was no music/background noise and the fact that it felt like we were in add-on part to the main restaurant (the waiter kept disappearing across the road to pick up the food and to deliver... Hungry upon arrival to Naples and it was a bank holiday, so I decided to stay even after discovering a $1.50 per person Table charge. The pizza was ok- nothing special. Beer was cold. They said the charge was for the table and not a service charge. Sounds like the house wins on all accounts. Good location right off Toledo.... More
Situated in a side street this was easy to find but the food was not good. The spaghetti with seafood included a whole coccio fish which by nature is quite bony. The fish was small and over cooked and consequently had allowed the bones and spines to permeate the whole dish. Service was at best disinterested.
