I’m not a big ‘foodie’, but what we were served here was very good. I had some glazed pork dish that was unbelievably tasty. My girlfriend had steak and loved it. We stumbled on this restaurant by accident as it was near to where we were staying. It is in an odd location, but that is probably a good thing... More

Ex Mauri is a small informal trattoria in the Isola district of Milano. They are famous for their baccala which is excellent, but they offer many other excellent main courses. The pasta first course are outstanding and the wine list is very well chosen. The friendly service and the high quality of the meal at reasonable prices make Ex Mauri... More

I had dinner out in this restaurant one week ago. I must admit that the place is nice and cured, I liked the walls in red bricks and in general the way it looks…I would say that the style is typical of an Italian tavern, but a lot more chic. Definitely lovely! Also dishes were appropriate, a good mix between... More

When we arrived by taxi, the restaurant was full for the night. But because we arrived by taxi they made an extra efford so we could get a table. The food was amazing, and the service was unbelivable. This made our trip. We would never have found the restaurant if it wasn't for tripadvisor. There were only Italians there dining.... More

The reataurant´s location is a bit out of the very centre, which means it can be hardly found by coincidence, but it´s defenitely worth the visit. The place is nicely decorated and has uncommon furniture: each chair and table is diffferent, The menu is really interesting, combines traditional Italian cuisine with a creative touch (for instance, the intriguing chickpea frittata... Was disappointed with the cod that i ordered. It wasnt cod and tasted like some fish that was in the freezer for too long. Husband enjoyed his chicken wrapped with bacon though. We werent exactly hungry so thats all we ordered.

We have choosen this place based on a good response and reviews planning to had a good evening meal prior to our departure. We did a reservation by phone, however, as it turned out, the restaurant wasn't full. The appertizers was fine (despite the bread for the fua-gra was a bit burnt), but the meat steak wasn't that good. Plus... More

Highly recommended. The food was quite good. Nice atmosphere and very warm decoration. For those who are not familiar with the local food, the owner knows very well to guide you.

Inventive dishes that take on the osteria tradition. The plates here though are neither simple nor cheap, this is a fancy take on informal dining. Although the atmosphere of the restaurant is still quite relaxed and the wine list is pretty affordable. If you eat a first and second dish and try one of their delicious deserts you'll end up...
