We stumbled upon this delicious place on our first afternoon in venice. Try at least 3 or 4 crostini! Great for a before dinner glass of wine & snack or on a pub crawl dinner.

Great bar for cicchetti and spritz, both reasonably priced. The cicchetti are fresh; in fact, they fly out of the display case so fast that you can request your's made while you watch if the one you want is gone. The spritz are generous and you can sip and snack outside at one of the tables, stand outside if the... More

Friendly atmosphere with delicious small bites and reasonable prices in the Rialto Bridge area where most places are overpriced. It is a little off the beaten path, but easy to find.

After several trips to Venice while successfully avoiding tourist traps this is still my favorite bacaro in Venice. As a chef I search for perfection in food and atmosphere, while those things are rarely attainable All'Arco comes pretty damn close. The food is the best around and the drinks are slung with speed and accuracy. While the staff (which I... More

Great wines and delicious Cicchetti at a resonable price. Tucked away and frequented by locals, its clear this is a gem.

Found it using TA City Guide and by following the noise of the crowd. Great local place where you have to push your way to the counter to point at what you want. Be prepared to stand and eat but you might find a ledge to sit your plate or drink on in the surrounding streets. I love proscuiotto so... More

We stumbled upon this place trying to find our guesthouse, and they were kind enough to provide us with concise directions, even though they were very busy. We vowed to go back and give them a try because of how nice they were and how good the food looked, and boy, were we glad we did! This small establishment is... More

It's a small place, only open until 5PM, and not much seating. You walk up, point at what you want, they put it on a plate, and you eat. Simple enough. The food was tasty. I picked out three crostini pieces for 4.5 euros. I went back and order a small mixed grilled veggies plate which was served with bread... More

The first time we went to this bar, in the scruffy area behind the Rialto market, the inside and the road outside were packed with customers, so we went back about 30 minutes later (around 1400) and got to the counter without any problem. We chose some snacks without really knowing what they were - but they looked great. And... More

.... but well worth the search, that is if you are looking for authenticity and wanting to avoid the tourist traps around the Rialto. Shuffle through a small crowd of locals and you will be warmly welcomed at the counter as one of their own. If you don't know what is on offer, just ask or point and they will... More
