We had a reservation for 7.30 and were the second couple to arrive. Other couples filtered in but the restaurant was still only half full by the time we left after 9pm. Whilst only a few minutes from St Mark's square, it's hidden away down an alley so it's unlikely to see much trade from passing diners. The décor is... More

My wife and I ate here yesterday evening and were disappointed. The staff have attitude (arrogance and indifference to the visitor blended with some snobbery). The food was not particularly tasty and the portions were ridiculously small. My experience and comments seem to agree with another review of May 1st. I do not understand the high ratings of visitors for... More

If you'd like to visit a place with a warm atmosphere and delisious food you should go to this family restaurant. It's unique style both in interior and food will capture your gourmet heart forever! Don't forget to leave a place in your stomach for desserts. I bet you've never tasted something more magnificent :)))) Anya, hope to see you... More

I tend not to write reviews for restaurants whilst on holiday however I feel after our trip to Venice I need to share this delight! Just a back story to why I did choose to write this...We found Venice to be very expensive for dinners out. On our third night we had dinner at a restaurant which served us cold... More

We stopped for a couple of drinks after a wander through the back streets of venice and was very impressed with the service and food that was being served, so much so, that we returned for dinner that evening. We were not disappointed. They don't open until 7pm but worth the wait. The staff were very knowledgable on the menu... More

We went there this week having read about this restaurant on Trip Advisor. It was so good we went back on our last night. There was sound advice on Trip Advisor. The food is high quality and you need 3 courses, unlike some restaurants. The emphasis is on quality and flavours rather than quantity. The carrot soup and rabbit terrine... More

If you want to eat, not to show off - don't even go close to this restaurant. At first they always put tiny amount the most expensive products in the dish. For example, pasta with mussels and beans had just a few mussels and many beans. Tortellini with artichoke had cheese and no artichoke at all. Pasta with beans and... More

Dear Sergiy, At first, pasta with mussels, beans and sundried tomatoes is the only pasta where we don’t add any salt at all! It is rich of salty flavour just because mussels and sundried tomatoes are salty by their nature. But this only means that You don’t know the real flavour of those products. This also explains why You didn’t... More

Michelin standard at a modest cost. First rate food (try the rabbit terrine), with excellent, knowledgeable service and quality wine. Definitely off the beaten track, but well worth the effort to find it. Simon was the perfect host, and my wife and I enjoyed a great evening in a city where it's oh so easy to make a mistake!

The decor is very modern and first class.....Nice change in a city with many traditional restaurants. The menu worked for our extended family....ages 8 to 72 ! In an out of the way calle, but actually quite centrally located in San Marco

While everything in Venice is for tourists, this was the least touristy restaurant we ate in. The food is modern (portions are small as others noted) but nobody in our party left hungry. My towering, reconstructed, braised oxtail was stupendous! The staff was friendly and attentive, and the red wine that came when I just asked for 'a glass' was... More
