After an afternoon at Michelangelo Square, we enjoyed an off-beat, eclectic meal at Zeb's. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation time of 7:30 and the waiter was a bit sullen and unprepared. He claimed not to speak English but he was willing to seat us at the little bar/restaurant and served us house wine. Despite this being a... More

4 of us tried this place on the back of Trip Advisor recommendations, it was fantastic. Away from the touristy crowd this little gem rocked our works with the fresh made pasta. The truffle pasta is to die for and the zucchini flower ravioli with burata was devine. The second plate was a selection of home cooked traditional Italian food... More

Small bar with wonderful food, freshly made. Don't go if you're in a rush as they (mother & son) set the timing. Do go if you want to enjoy Florence cuisine & wine at its best!

This tiny little place is hidden away on the other side of the river in a small neighborhood near the Bardini Gardens. It is a family-run affair and so your experience will be much better if you relax, disconnect, have a glass of very passable wine and let them take care of you. You can see everything, because there are... More

Enjoyed a great meal after a Vespa tour in Tuscany, really quality food and the service was very good, granted we were the only ones in there for most of our time there. Desserts looked good thru the glass case, but we smartly steered clear after a very filling lunch, would def go back to try other dishes.

Very good pasta. Environment very clean and modern. The only let down is the very poor attitude of staff, who are not able to accept any form of customer criticism, even if you would prefer your food to be more cooked (in our case the roast beef being undercooked). This led to the unpleasant experience of having the owner pulling... More

We came for lunch and sat at the bar. Had to be patient as only the chef and his mum (apparently) were manning the restaurant, but no complaints. The mother was really cute, kept smiling at us even though she spoke very little english. The two of us had 2 pasta courses followed by 2 second courses and a soup.... More

We visited Zeb on our first night in Florence, the food was amazing, only disappointed that I ate so much, I couldn't manage a desert! Surprised by the negative comments, as we are tourists, made a reservation, and had no issues at all... Everyone working there were friendly and knowledgeable, spending plenty of time to explain the menu to us.

This was some of the best food we have had in Italy, and that's saying a lot. But know what you're getting into: It is a tiny place, you eat at a bar like in a sushi place, the meal proceeds at its own pace, and you should accept all suggestions and go with the flow. A couple of Americans... More

The best food we had in Florence. We ate there for lunch, and we sat at the bar. The chef was patient and explained what was on the menu. I had a ravioli in pear sauce and roast that had been marinated in wine and it was delicious. My wife had nice pasta dish, but the best thing we loved... More
