If this was my last meal i would die the happiest man on earth.I had the pleasure of eating here many times during a months stay in 2008.Nothing has changed. The food is fresh and made and served with love by Mama (Papa just adds character).I was fortunate to be in the company of four friends who were eager to share... Ate there on May 9 and what a treat......best meal while in Italy. Tomatoes and mozzarella unbeatable and the paccheria with zucchini flowers and saffron was delicious. Great value for the prices and as stated before by others, service is true Italian family style. Reservations a must and we made ours 1 month before our arrival. Tried to make reservations... More

So few tables, such good food. My gf had the zucchini flour pasta and I had the tagliatelle with duck ragu and the osso bucco. I wish I was hungrier that night because the tastes were fabulous. Best part? The value. One of our best meals in Italy was also one of our cheapest dinners. They continually turn people away... More

Hard to find but worth it. Make reservations because they are always busy. Charming place and great staff!!! Parpadelli with duck and the veal with roasted artichokes amazing - local, fresh and simple but good food. One of my best meals here.

THE BEST DINING EXPERIENCE we had in all of our visit to Italy! yes its a small alleyway not far from the Duomo, but keep going, you'll find it. Yes it's small, so make those reservations! Well worth it. service with Italian family love is very apparent here. We had the contrast of computer nerds from Calif on our left... More

You might want to get reservations BEFORE you travel to Florence. They can be pretty booked up and this is a must for dinner while in the city. The menu is handwritten and changes frequently. The mozzarella was super fresh and each of the dishes were very creative and fresh. If you arrive before your table is ready, the server... More

We ate here on our first day in Florence. Luckily we got a late lunch table - we had to go away and come back - and enjoyed the food so much we booked for the next evening and then the following lunchtime. Sadly we had to go home after that! The food seemed great to me (and the husband... More

We at here on May 8th. Must have reservations and also if you arrive early you can pick your table. The restaurant is small as others report. We sat at the back right of the room and as a couple we could both enjoy a view around the room and also enjoy our space. Our dinner with wine was very... More

Great little place with amazing value for money considering the trattoria is next to Duomo. The pasta with duck, the pasta with the zuchini flowers and the oso bucco were the best. Reservantion is need in advance.
