One of the best values in our three week stay in Italy. Wonderful food and service. Hard to find a non tourist vibe in Siena, but this is it.

Walk down the stairs on the passageway to St. Caterina's house and find this hidden gem. You won't feel like a tourist but like a guest in a talented cook's house. The lemon sage chicken was delicious and it was fun to try the biscotti with Vino Santo.
Discovered this lovely restaurant whilst walking Sienna. .near the Piazza Dominico. Downstairs, shady and cool with excellent food and friendly service. Not expensive. Would recommend.
This place is a hidden gem. In a small alley near Santa Caterina, you could walk by the doorway and never know it is there. The food here was great. The Osso Bucco was delicious and the steak salad was excellent. The pastas, especially the Salt and Pepper Pici(the other was the wild boar pasta), were tasty. A great experience.
We decided to try this restaurant as it was highly ranked on Tripadvisor. Local people recommended it too, so we gave it a go.
At first we were impressed with the really simple, quite cosy atmosphere. We had booked a table because we were told the Campaccio was really popular and it was during Christmas hols, thus we expected it...

great little hidden gem. No, really. It's really hidden. It will be hard to find via google maps but well worth it. Amazing Wild Boar Pasta. I literally had to order two!
This terrific restaurant was recommended by the folks at nearby Albergo Bernini. It was just down the street and around the corner, but we could not have done better by walking miles! The service was great, and all our selections from their menu were perfectly prepared and presented. This was our introduction to Sienese cuisine, and we couldn't have done...

This little restaurant is tucked in an alleyway between Santuario Santa Caterina and Albergo Bernini. A simple setting for delicious food provided with caring, friendly service. Highlights of our visit were the wild boar (cinghale) stew and an amazing, made to order chocolate souffle, with the most delicious, warm chocolate filling you can imagine. Our party left full, happy, and...

My husband and I ate here based on reviews from TripAdvisor and you all did not disappoint! From the outside, it looks much like the dozens of other little restaurants you'd find in any Italian city. The food, however, is perfectly prepared, with the right balance of flavors and high-quality ingredients. On top of all that, the prices were very...

The waitstaff here was so friendly and so accommodating! We arrived early and had a wonderful meal. The house wine in particular is excellent. The location is cute too, kind of like dining in a wine cellar. Not that this is any surprise in Italy, but according to the website they use local ingredients, etc.
Osteria molto carina, con ottimo...
