We walked a very long way for dinner here, having spotted it while near the campo (it is close to the city centre, but was far from our hotel). The menu looked great, and the restaurant itself looks modern and fresh. We started dinner with the pici with Tuscan ragu (a special that day) and the pici with guinea fowl.... More

We were intrigued by the modern interior architecture of the restaurant. We thought, when someone has put this much thought into the design, the food should be good as well. And it was - excellent from the antipasti, the first course, the main course all the way to the dolci. We can recommend the desert wines as well - quite... More

As I went to make this review I see others agree with how great this spot is. Food was great, inventive dishes very well done. Pricing was reasonable and service excellent. They seated us even though it was after 230 and let us stay till we were finished without rushing (we were the last to leave before they closed for... More

You must try this restaurant if you are looking for sophisticated food in a modern setting--not the usual tourist fare. Giovanni, the chef, is from Sicily, and his menu has everything from seafood to pasta to the traditional Tuscan meat. I had the spinach ravioli, which was made with fresh pasta cooked perfectly al dente(which is unusual in my experience... More

Numero Unico looks great, very good location and the food is as good as most eateries in the area. It may be a little bit pricier than others in Siena town center, but the cost is fair considering that it is a welcoming restaurant.

Very, very fine and delicious food well presented for a reasonable price. This place is for people who want to try modern italian cuisine, beyond pizza and spaghetti. We choosed the restaurant based on the rating in Tripadvisor. It met or even exceeded all our expectations.

We (7 cyclists) wanted a place to escape the heat and sample local wines. This was the perfect spot. N.1co's modern decor would seem more in place in NYC's Meatpacking District than in Siena, but don't let that deter you. The spot offers an robust selection of local wines by the glass along with excellent, free nibbles.

I was going from Piazza del Campo towards the Duomo, in the historical part of Siena, I had lunch with only 10 € in this new restaurant. There was a vast choice of starters and a very kind waitress offered me to pick and taste most of them placing them on a huge rectangular plate. I really loved the anchovies... More

Over the years so many restaurants in Italy have turned into pizzerias to satisfy tourists looking for a familiar and inexpensive meal that, when we happened into Numero Unico in the middle of historic Siena....and there was no pizza....we were ecstatic. Even more so when we dug into the sampler of charcuterie and a colorful plate of grilled vegetables and... More
