Had a lunch there in the middle of skiing day in St.Moritz. It was very nice and sunny on their terace, full of people.the service is just average, nothing more and quite slow. The view is breathtaking, you can really enjoy it, while having your meal. It is accesable by car or skis. The food was really tasty (we had gnocchi... More

Great view, great food, great atmosphere, great people. We also loved the live music event and this guy singing. Everything was exceptional. After a tiring day at the slopes, salastrains is the best choice. Make sure you make a reservation on time. It is very busy during holidays.

We ate here six days in a row with our German friends, who had reserved a lunch table in advance. A great location and very good food to break up a day of skiing on Corviglia. Most diners were there to soak in the aura and the weather, but many like us were also there for a 1.5 hour lunch... More

Good sums this place up. The terrace is a super spot for lunch and people watching with a tremendous mountain view. This is a very accessable restaurant - I got a taxi to the front door, one friend walked up the mountain and another skied down to us. The owner (I assume it is he) is very jolly, table hopping... The Salastrains restaurant is beautifully decorated, the food is scumptious (particularly the Don Arturo mixed salad which is the best I've ever had), and the staff are terrific. The head waiter, Mr. Maurizio Grillo, is fun, lively, and very accomodating. This is one of the two best mountain restaurants in Switzerland, the other being the Weissfluhjoch Gipfel restaurant at the... More

The only bad thing you might report about Salastrains is that it is posh. However it is so stylishly posh that you may forgive it. Reachable both from the sky paths and by a little train from St Moritz, Salastrains is located above St Moritz Dorf and it is a treat not to be missed, particularly when you eat in... More

Very expensive, but great food and atmosphere. Owners host everyone and it's really nice.

Great food, very friendly staff and a great place to eat for lunch while skiing. We enjoy coming to Rest. Salastrains every time we ski in St. Moritz.
