Small restaurant in the area of the Castle. If you find any free table seat there. If there isn't dont wait there. As for the plates there are choices for meat and fish. All of them are good.

Only around 12 seats in this restaurant and though the menu is limited, all the dishes are beautifully prepared and very tasty. Do reserve or you may not get a seat. The proprietor is very helpful and his Portugese wife is charming. If you are in the area of the Castle San Jorge, this is the best bet.

We went with an open mind and found an enthusiastic entertaining host. The food was home cooking of a high standard. A small menu showed it changes regularly. As it is such a small space all the diners were very friendly. Canadian, French & British. Entertainment was live singing and lively conversation.

Great food, service couldn't be better! We went there with two young kids and they loved the food as well. They treated us and the children really well. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was simple but very good, staff/owner very friendly and multi-lingual. Only - why did the serve Nespresso and deep-frozen vegetables as the side? Meat and fish very very good, and the desert is a must.

A small place down the block and around a corner from the castle with nice people and excellent food. Try the home made sardine pâté which is unique and not salty.
