Good service, lovely old building, very good food and drinks. We visited twice in a short break. Big selection of cakes. Good sandwiches made from their bread, hearty and tasty. Helpful staff.

Historical Confeitaria, well conserved ancient ambiance, but really clean and updated with respect for tradition and quality. Excellent cakes for good prices, and a very nice service staff. it is a "must" if you visit Lisboa.
This was a great stop for an espresso and cake. Ambience in self-serve area not great. ?4 for 2 coffee, 2 cakes - which were delicious. Great place to call for a short stop.
We visited this grand tearoom just away from the main square of Lisbon for a cake and coffee. We were served by a very friendly young man promptly after us taking a seat. This is a great place to go for a mid-morning or mid-afternoon break. Good coffee and pastry. For a quick snack, use the stand-up bar area. This could be the best 15 minutes of your day.

We went there for a break, attracted by the comments we read on trip adv. The pasteleria was not bad but nothing special and the hot chocolate ..totally disappointing! The machines at university make it better!
I'd lunch in the restaurant upstairs. I ordered the fish daily special. It's just ok. In fact it's a bit like microwave oven food. Fortunately the baba de camelo which I picked for dessert was very delicious.
I went there since I was on the way to catch tram number 15 in the square outside. I don't think I'll go...

Lovely looking cafe with table service and self service upstairs. The Pasteis de Nata were excellent, although other places in the area were just as good and the drinks were cheaper.
Found this very ordinary. Nice pastel de nata, terrible coffee. Inside seemed very dated but not in a quaint way. Wouldn't be rushing back.
