Charming waiters, classic menu, delicious Gulasch Soup!! One thing to keep in Mind though: smoking is still permitted indoors.
Visited 22 november 2013. Very relaxed vibe. I ordered a pot of earl grey tea, my partner sausages in goulash, beer, and apple strudel. No problem with the food or drink and the waiter was polite enough. The bill came to twenty euros and ten cents. I handed over a twenty and five. I intended to give the water a... More
We were suggested this cafe. The staff were friendly on both of our visits. The coffee was good (Brauners) and it had the expected selection of cakes. The lunch was good too.
Very nice vibe, coffee and strudel! We searched for a place to drink coffee and eat some cake and found this one..its a great place to sit even alone..old fashion and a lot of vienna natives..we ate cheese and apple strudel both were really good!
Excellent Schnitzel and potato salad combo. We liked it enough to go back a second evening. The service was good.
We ate here on a sunny summer lunchtime and really enjoyed it. The service was good, the food was great and the atmosphere nice and relaxed with locals sitting around reading newspapers. I had a Viennese Chicken Salad which was fantastic, my wife had a beef sandwich which was on the large side and very nice too. This is definitely... More
Vale a pena uma parada na caminhada e desfrutar o ambiente tradicional do Cafe Korb. Frequentado por locais, menu em duas línguas, ótima staff. O banheiro vale a visita. It's worth a stop on the walk and enjoy the traditional atmosphere of the Cafe Korb. Frequented by locals, in two languages menu, great staff. The bathroom is worth the visit.
We stopped at Cafe Korb on a whim for NYE dinner. There was only 1 table for two available but one of the waiters pulled a small table over to make a table for the four of us. We proceeded to have an excellent traditional Austrian fare dinner. The dinner were very reasonably priced and our waiter was very helpful... More
We came here at 8 pm on Sunday for a light dinner, noting that almost all customers seemed to be local residents. We tried the Gulasch (beef soup), a delicious, authentic, substantial tureen at 5.80 Euros; a Noodle soup at 4.30 Euros was less inspired but good. A 1/3 Liter of mineral water was 3 Euros. "Kalbsweiner" veal good at 17.80... More
Intersting place. The upstairs felt very NY diner like. Very authentic feeling Viennese style food. Wait staff very friendly, even moved us when a table near the window became free. The downstairs near the WC felt very different from the upstairs. Wondering if it some type of club at night.
