Yes it is expensive but the fish is soooo fresh that melts in your mouth... I buy my sushi a least once a month.. :) highly recommended
Sabi Sushi provides excellent sushi and sashimi - the fish was clearly very fresh, and the tuna was particularly good. It's essentially a take-away place, but there are a few stools and a couple of counters if you want to eat in, though the surrounding areas is not particularly picturesque. You can order in advance and therefore minimise your wait... More
Sabi sushi only does takeaway, but the atmosphere is still nice, with a couch where you can sit while waiting for your order. You can order online, by phone or in the restaurant. I only had to wait 10 minutes for my order, even though there was quite a line. The menu offers a variety of sushi, i can vouch... More
Sabi Sushi is a take away sushi restaurant not far from central Stavanger. Sushi was good and a big plus for cow meat sushi. Wasabi was a bit mild and would have wished it to bit hotter. The interior was nice and service fast. It was good sushi, but you can get better and cheaper take away in Oslo. But... More
Sabi has the best sushi there is. Ive been trying out different sushiplaces in Stavanger, and Sabi is absolutely my favorite! For every sushi-lover: you got to try this place!
I love sabi, aside from hall toll it's the only place to get good sushi in stavanger. It's great takeout for parties as well, we have bought platters a number of times. I have had consistantly good sushi at the forus location, a few times in stavanger they forgot a sauce or something. I've found the service to be just... More
Very good quality sushi in Stavanger. If you are visiting Stavanger for the first time, you need a map to find it, as it is located in a neighbourhood outside the Stavanger city center. Relatively good prices. Big variety of sushi/nigiri/maki - go for their omakase menus.
When Sabi came to town, the waiting was finally over! Now we have a really great place to get fresh, creative and perfectly prepared sushi too! It is so easy to order online and it is always ready at pick up time - amazing as the place always seems to be packed. We love the take away in Pedersgate but... More
Being a relative newbie to sushi I can't compare Sabi's fare with what the real maestros of Japan can do, but everything feels fresh and well made and I'm always happy.
