Very pleasant, very central and very busy teashop, but relaxing and never noisy. Great for morning coffee and homemade cake - the Coffee and Walnut is fabulous and our favourite - and later on we returned for lunch. The menu is limited and simple, but everything on it is very good. This time I had the vegetable tartlet with salad... More

We were looking for somewhere to break the journey on a trip to take my 80 year old mother to visit family in South Wales. Ross-on-Wye is almost exactly half way, and after reading reviews of the various eating establishments in Ross, I chose Pots and Pieces. We weren't disappointed, the staff were very welcoming, and we were well looked... More

Spending the day in Ross on business so checked out Tripadvisor for somewhere decent for lunch, preferring not to go to a pub. As this seemed highly rated we thought we would give it a go and we were not disappointed. Ending up going for the cream tea despite it being lunch time. The two scones and jam were delicious... Situated centrally the cafe is a pleasent place for a lunch or afternoon tea. The staff are attentive and although the menu could be a little more inspiring, the food is good and reasonably priced. Of the choices in Ross, this is probably the best of the cup of tea places.

Thank you for your lovely review, we are pleased you enjoyed your visit to Pots and Pieces Teashop. We agree with you that our savoury menu is limited, this is due to us having such a small kitchen area, which is why we pride ourselves on offering at least 8 different freshly homemade cakes plus scones or teacakes in addition... Pots and Pieces has become a treat stop for us on a Saturday afternoon when we feel like indulging in some delicious homemade cake or sandwiches! It is wonderful to have a proper tea shop in Ross that serves loose leaf tea and a wide range of cakes freshly baked by Sara and displayed under glass domes in the window!... More

The owner was extremely friendly she helped us find a great place to eat in the evening(we had already done some research on Tripadvisor) also a very nice young lady working with her. We were staying in a hotel in the town, so we went in for tea both... More

This really is an excellent place to stop for refreshments. Good coffee a wide choice of cakes and something more substantial if you require. First class, friendly staff and a relaxing ambience. You will not find better.

We stumbled upon Pots and Pieces after exploring Ross-on-Wye this weekend. It was almost full, which we take as a good sign, particularly since a couple of the other places nearby were empty. The staff were most friendly and we had hot chocolates with loads of marshmallows and a piece of delicious fruit cake. Most highly recommended. THANKS, John and... More
