Lovely, intimate surroundings and exquisite food. Everything we tried was excellent --- very fresh and beautifully presented. While we were eating, rain started to pour down, followed by rain and sunshine together, and a beautiful rainbow appeared outside the window next to our table, adding to the magic. The prices were a little high, but not compared to other restaurants... More

Sensational grilled pecorino cheese entree dish - yum yum yum! Lovely service, not overbearing but attentive. Perfect.

We don’t usually eat at restaurants attached to the hotels where we stay on holiday. Hotel restaurants are often sub-par -- if they’re focusing on the rooms, the kitchen can be an afterthought -- and in any place worth visiting, there are going to be lots of dining experiences that are worth having outside of where you sleep. But after... More

We really liked the location and the outside area (big advantage of the place), plus we were already quite hungry, so we gave it a go. The service was fast and friendly, but the food should either be better or cheaper. Our pasta was average and the meat as well. We will not go there again.

Loved the food we had in 3 nights, the Florentine steak is a must ( to share with 2) and the lamb chops! The staff most kind and helpful!

The restaurant looks nice, food was not bad, service slow and not too friendly. We asked for a small piece of meat for our 2 year old son. Without asking the waiter brought out a not even that appetible piece of meat that, when the bill came turned out to be the most expensive dish on the menu, making the... More

good winelist and extremely good advice on local wines (the waiter had worked at Castello Broilio, one of the top chianti estates before) with tips were to buy - good food and despite the posh venue no problem to order a light dinner (i.e. only salad and pasta) which is not always well received in Italy Nice Tableware and presenatation... Low quality of food an too expensive. The Bistecca fiorentina - normally tender and soft and a famous speciality of Tuscany - was very disappointing and hard. It was made too fast without passion. Sorry! The wine list was large and their prices were ok. The service was ok too. The restaurant is part of the hotel palazzo Leopoldo and... More
