Food was great, arrived quickly and the portions were huge. Atmosphere was okay, nothing special but the place was clean and tidy and warm on a very cold night.
the restaurant has a very cheap and plain setting. The tables were dirty and the waitress couldn't even be bothered serving the guests. Cannot say much about the food as we left after five minutes as we noticed that the waitress was happier texting on her phone rather than serving the guests.
myself and my partner recently spent a few days bushwalking around the scenic katoomba area and avoided eating lunch during our long walks so when it came to our evening meal we were lucky to find anki,s which served some really delicious Indian food-----nothing flash about this small shopfront Indian eatery but we found the food just great for us-----would... This spot was recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. A good selection on the menu which when it arrived was excellent - rich and tasty...and the total cost was so cheap. The evening we were there it was packed, but service was great. It is therefore on the 'return' list.
This place is brilliant! Loved the great food at very reasonable prices. Curries were absolutely delicious, and the meat was tender. I was just sad that I had eaten a large lunch and couldn't fit more in! I will be coming back again next time I am in town.
Lovely little restaurant that opens earlier than others which meant we could get out of the rain and enjoy a meal before the night time rush. Service was good (but we were the only ones there on a Tuesday night) and the food was delicious!
Very different Indian meal. Interesting choice to pick from, good and friendly service, could be a little warmer
We were not disappointed! The flavours were amazing and definatly the best Indian we have every tasted! We ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka, samosa, garlic naan. There was so much choice in the menu! The service was so quick too! The restaurant my not look so stunning but the food and service more then make up for it! If you... More
Had a chicken curry, and it was GREAT. So yummy, not oily. I also ordered rice and a garlic naan. Both were perfect. The food was cheap, the staff were friendly and it was FAST. It is obviously a favourite of the locals as there were two big tables booked the night I got takeaway!
