The inside area seems to be constantly booked by tour groups, but the outdoor tables are not reserved, so we were able to eat there. The mixed grill was huge and also quite good. Good side dishes, good beer too.

We were traveling to Cesky Krumlov with two families including four kids during the Easter holidays. This restaurant was recommended for Easter Dinner but it was booked solid. We booked it for lunch the following day and LOVED it. The children enjoyed watching the restaurant employees cook all the different types of meat (the adults did too). The restaurant style...

Spent two nights in Cesky Krumlov and we all agreed Kcrma v Satlavske was our best meal. Lucky for us our accommodation was directly across the alley, so we made a reservation for the following evening. There are so many great things about this place... the atmosphere, the open fire grill, and the deliciously cooked meats. We were not disappointed....

Medieval Tavern hidden away in a back alley. Must visit place, but make a reservation. Food is good and atmosphere is excellent.
The service is great, and the food excellent. If you want to feel medieval atmosphere don't miss this place. It smells great, you can see the meat being cooked over fire.

it couldn't be different in a city that has every medieval atmosphere, a dinner in a medieval tavern followed the typical czech gastronomic. A really time travel.
Visisted Cesky Krumlov end of November/ early December this year, this place was recommended by the hotel staff. We ate there on our first night and after sampling the delights of the menu - we had the lamb chops, most meats are cooked over an open fire on a griddle; we immediately booked again for the last night of our...

Staff is rather rude, food take more than 40 minutes to prepare. But the roast pork knee is great. Even though we had make reservation, we were being asked to wait for another 30minutes.
My friend and I had a great meal here back in May. We had a sampler with chicken, steak and either pork or turkey plus a baked potato and potato pancakes. A crazy amount of food and tasty potato pancakes. We also each had two mugs of the hot honey wine....yum!
