We made our reservation prior to leaving on the trip. We had to change the date once but the resto was very good about reaccomodating us promptly on the new date (via email). We walked from our boat next to the Chain Bridge - to Borbirosag...a 15-20 minute - very pleasant walk. This lovely eatery is on a side street... More

Best food and wine I've ever had in Budapest and that's a massive statement if you eat out regularly in Budapest and the quality of food is high everywhere. I have to say though this has blown all the others out the water and I will be coming back again!

Outstanding price/performance, a short and concise menue (the way I like it). Still, a tough decision what to taste. Excellent wine selection and a very personable service. Try to talk to the patron, he stands for quality...

My daughter had found this restaurant for us to try when we arrived in Budapest. We were unsure of what we would find when we got there but, wow! It was so good! They seated us outside on a cool evening in October and had a really delicious meal. We liked this place so much, we tried to eat there... More

So close to the Market Hall, you would expect fresh food & that is what you get. Lovely relaxed atmosphere, good service. Good knowledge of Hungarian wines, thought I was being unadventurous ordering green asparagus but these were FRESH & beautifully cooked. Wild boar stew excellent, whole evening good.

Loved this place when in Budapest six years ago; now it's more sophisticated but still one of most memorable dining experiences in this city of great food and wines. Rack of baby lamb over a potato puree flavored with mint--to die for! Friendly service, great wine selection poured from the bottle by the glass, and Hungarian specialties (goulash - yes,... More

We were renting the apartment upstairs from this restaurant so decided to try it on our last night in Budapest. We had a table upstairs...waitress was very good ..suggested the goose pâté to share for entree as well as the sausage entree we had chosen. We weren't disappointed both great. Our mains...Lamb medallions great but felt needed some greens, duck... More

This lovely restaurant is on a quiet courtyard, just off a busy pedestrian mall and right next to the Grand Food Hall. The menu had a good selection of dishes, some based on Hungarian classics, but given a modern twist. The wine list was excellent and the service was gracious, friendly and attentive. I enjoyed my first meal so much,... More
