.... if you're desperate for Chinese food, but your favorite place at home has nothing to worry about. Don't go out of your way. Nice proprietors though.

Gone twice and enjoyed each night. Food is well prepared and reasonably priced. Very friendly lady servers make you feel at home. Will be back.

The food and service was average but the price was good compared to everything else being so overpriced on the island! Limited menu and simple decor.

the atmosphere was wonderful. The servicenwas exceptionally gracious friendly and gave a great at home feel of a family owned restaurant. The food....well what can I say just OUTSTANDING! Always go to the restaurant where you see the locals and you will never fail...this place is no different. why spend 20 dollars a plate and get a so so meal... More

Wanted to have some Chinese food, so I tried a sampling of things, first I started with egg rolls, kind of pasty and bland, then I tried the Hot and Sour soup, was not terrible but it did not have the sour of the hot and sour...then I tried the chicken low mien, the noodles tasted old and the dish... In a quest to try as many restaurants on the island as possible, we stopped in at Mr. Ning's after confirming they don't use MSG in their dishes. The waitress was very polite and prompt, willing to answer questions... all in all great. When the food came one of us got a side of an egg roll and the other... More

Always good food, good service and very reasonable for a resort town such as Avalon. No view it is true, but for great food and value Mr. Ning's is the place we always go. HIGHLY recommend.

I really enjoy coming to Mr. Ning's. They have lunch and dinner specials and the staff has been around for many years and are friendly. I love the cream cheese wontons, orange chicken, szechwan chicken, beef and brocolli, hot and sour soup, and my usual wa-wonton soup with pork, chicken, and shrimp hits the spot. A good value.

I grew up in Avalon, and my parents have been eating at Ning's for longer than I've been alive, so believe me when I say that Ning's is one of my favorite restaurants anywhere. Almost all of the time the food is delicious and great- and then every once in a while, it'll knock your socks off. It's the first... More
