The Wave is a little way out of Central Bangkok - but a 15 minute taxi ride from The Peninsula (about 80b) is well worth the effort. Situated on a quiet stretch of the Chao Praya river it looks like an open plan barn with lots of concrete and neon lights - but don't let that put you off. The... More

The Wave is a 5 star Bangkok dining experience! On a recent visit, I ordered the seabass and papaya salad. Both items were freshly prepared and truly delicious. Bonus points for dining along the river! Good value and service, too. I will certainly be returning to The Wave on my next trip to Bangkok!

This is one of the most fun and most authentic THAI experiences in all of Bangkok. Located on the Chao River next to Peninsula Hotel across from river from main part of Bangkok----take a taxi to Shangri La Hotel and then taxi river taxi across......its so much fun outdoors on the river, or indoors if you want. Discovered this several... More

We went there for dinner expecting a quiet place by the river and it was a bit of a disappointment. The place is huge and very popular with the thai crowd. There was a kind of tacky singer playing substandard versions of western pop. The menu leans heavily to deep friend and (to my taste) very spicy stuff. Not a... More

This Restaurant was started when a former employee of the Peninsula Hotel in Bangkok partnered with an investor to launch this car theme local restaurant. Because of our frequent visits to the Peninsula, she told us of her plans to open this restaurant. We knew her well and felt secure it would be a success. It is. Food is catered... More

on our last night in bangkok, we decided to visit this restaurant. please remember to note down the telephone no. so that your taxi driver can call the restaurant for directions! took us a while to get here, about 45 minutes. we made reservations the day before, and requested for a table by the river. we were greeted and shown... Very nice restaurant at the river. Not so far away from the big Hotels Hilton Millenium etc.. The service is good but only the managers are speaking english, some of the personal a little bit. The Atmosphere in this restaurant is casual. A lot of young Thai People. The food is very spicy but fantastic. If you don't like spice,... More

A bit overrated on TripAdvisor in my opinion. The food was pretty good, and reasonably priced. But be careful ordering anything spicy. If it says spicy on the menu it means it! The outdoor eating area is okay. Views of the river yes, but cheap and nasty tables and chairs. I'm a tall guy and I could hardly fit my... More

A relaxing place along the bund of Chao Phraya River. Food is good with resonable price, we enjoy the breeze and live music. The staff is very friendly and even offer to help us getting a taxi once they notice we are not Thai. Will definitely come back again on my next visit to Bangkok.

Next to the river this restaurant is located with a great terrace. The food is good and is close to the best you will find in this capital of Thailand. The decor is modern and fresh and reflects the way you are treated. There is big car park in front of the restaurant also used by the bic C.
