Not quite sure about other peoples' gripes with the owner so can't really comment there but he was amiable with us and quite funny. I loved the feel of this place AND the yellow curry, so much so I had to go back a couple of times to have it again. I really enjoyed this place and would go again.

Good for breakfasts, a pad thai, or most anything on the menu, this eccentric cafe actually has a good kitchen.

This is not the cheapest place in Chiang Mai, but food is gorgeus and it's more than affordable. The owner (and the funky dog) gives a special atmosphere to the place. They make you feel like at home. Breakfast is also fantastic.

We liked it a lot. Only had some drinks hanging around and watching the people passing by. Very nice atmosphere and music. Staff was very friendly.

My boyfriend and I had breakfast here on one of our days in Chiang Mai. The owner is a cool, laid-back guy who serves the best fruit, muesli and yoghurt. A great start to our busy day. The vibe is chilled and there's some lovely decor inside.
